Known for his emotion on the pitch and as a hard-working professional, India captain Virat Kohli had one hell of a surprise when he set foot at St. James’ Court, London ahead of the 2nd Test match against the hosts at Lord’s.

All eyes are on dynamic skipper Kohli & Co. and how the cricketing champion is rallying his troops in the all-important second Test of the five-game series at the mecca of cricket – Lord’s.

After facing continuous downpours in Nottingham which did not allow the match to lead to a result, the 1st test at the bridge ended up being abandoned as a draw.

The Indian squad reportedly left for London at around 11 a.m. local time on Monday after every member tested negative for RT-PCR (Covid-19 check) as few of the squad’s players shared pictures of the start of the Nottingham team.

However, the team hotel staff did something extremely kind for Kohli’s cute baby girl, Vamika.

Staff at St. James’ Court had kept a balloon that read “Welcome, dear Vamika” in the room where the Kohlis are staying. It was a warm way to welcome baby Vamika to the hotel in London.

Besides being a fashion-forward couple and one of the most followed personalities on social media in the world, ‘Virushka’ attracts close attention to detail as they both like to proactively share photos and videos. of their family time.

Anushka even appreciated the kind gesture towards Vamika by posting the same photo of the balloon with a heart icon on her Instagram story.

A month earlier, she shared photos celebrating her daughter Vamika’s six-month birthday and wrote, “Her smile alone can change our whole world! I hope we can both live up to the love you look at us with, kid. Happy 6 months to the three of us.

Meanwhile, Kohli also likes to post photos with his star wife in a snap and caption them with heart emojis. The celebrity couple let their legions of fans and netizens constantly gush about the latest developments in their lives via the internet.

As for the 2nd test at Lord’s, new signings Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav who joined the Indian contingent in Nottingham on August 3, will complete their mandatory 10-day quarantine on August 13.

Thus, the two strikers can only return to training from August 14 and will be up for grabs to be selected in the Team India formation before the 3rd test in Leeds, which should start on August 25.

BCCI chairman Sourav Ganguly is expected to be present for the all-important Lord’s Test as he also plans to leave for London on Tuesday.
