Staff at the William Farrer Hotel will benefit from an incentive from the Harvest Hotels Group, which also owns and operates pubs in Albury, Tamworth and Dubbo. Fraser Haughton, director of Harvest Hotels, said the group wanted to lead by example to stop the spread of the virus. “We want to lead by example and help stop the spread of the virus, so we are supporting our staff to get vaccinated against COVID-19,” he said. Harvest Hotels co-founder Chris Cornforth said the $100 would be transferred to full-time and casual staff who were vaccinated, including those who had previously received the vaccine. “Most of our employees are casual and don’t have sick leave, so that can help them cross the line,” he said. “We want to keep our team safe and the community feel comfortable coming to our sites.” journalists work hard to provide local and up-to-date news to the community.
